ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website!
As you've surely gleaned from my site, I am the author of Yet, Here We Are, a novel set in 1948 and 1975, that is part love story, part mystery, part drama. Becoming a novelist has been a years-long goal of mine, and I’m now penning a second book set in 1950 Minnesota that includes a one-armed logger, a tree hugger who lives in the forest being logged, and a newly divorced woman who wins an Airstream in which she ventures east from Washington state to Minnesota. And let me tell you, I’m having a great time with this one!
Outside of writing (and reading oodles of books!), I step outdoors at any chance to take in the variety of seasons in the great state of Minnesota and beyond. I have a huge heart for dogs—including my five granddogs—and their people (aka my children, Skuyler, Rainah, and Aspenn), and of course my dear husband, Ted, and his son Zack.
I also truly enjoy discussing anything book-related and would be happy to address questions you might have or simply engage in conversation with you, whether about the process of writing, book suggestions, book/food pairings, or whatever else comes up. Use the Contacts page of my site or email me at brendakmassman@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
